A MAN has suffered serious injuries after a fight at a pub.
The incident happened at around 4.05am at The Huntsman Tavern on Sunday, March 31.
An unknown man, who was "banging" on the door of the pub, got involved in an altercation with another man who asked him to stop.
The second man was then pushed to the floor, and suffered serious injuries.
A statement released by Salisbury police said: "We are appealing for witnesses after a man suffered serious injuries in an incident at The Huntsman Tavern in Salisbury.
"On March 31, at around 4.05am, an unknown male suspect has been banging on the door of the pub.
"The victim has come to the pub and asked the suspect to stop. An altercation has then occurred where the suspect has pushed the victim to the floor, causing serious injuries.
"We are hoping to identify the suspect involved.
