CHILDREN allegedly vandalised several buildings in a shopping centre on Wednesday night.

The Guild was targeted by four "youths" who smashed a large shop-front window, damaged new fencing and ripped air conditioning units off walls.

Eagle One, the company which manages the site, believes the children are locals and can be identified from CCTV images.

The incident took place at around 7pm on Wednesday, April 10.

Security has been stepped up as a consequence of the vandalism, a spokesperson for the Guild said: "The site will be locked much earlier which will unfortunately cause inconvenience to local people and dog walkers using the short cut to the park."

Wiltshire Police and Eagle One have both been contacted for further information.
