A MAN who was caught speeding along the A303 must pay more than £1.2k, a court has ordered.
Jack Purton, of Kingston Upon Thames, broke the 70mph speed limit at Woodbine Hill, Tisbury, on July 16, 2023.
The 33-year-old was driving a BMW M3 and pleaded guilty to the offence.
Purton was fined £830 by Salisbury Magistrates' Court on Monday, April 15.
The district judge also ordered him to pay a £332 surcharge as well as £90 court costs, totalling £1,252.
Additionally, Purton's driving record was endorsed with six penalty points.
