"However, some of these were duplicates, and most were not serious defects and just required patching. We inspect Thorne Lane on a three monthly basis and defects which are deemed to be urgent are usually dealt with in 24 hours and those less urgent are prioritised and we aim to fix them within seven days.

"It is really helpful if the public can alert us to any defects they come across as these can deteriorate between inspections.
