YOUTHS have been starting fires and cutting down trees in wooded area near a housing estate.
Residents discovered the leftover destruction at Archer's Way and raised concerns with Wiltshire Police.
Several trees had been set alight with a "substantial" amount of accelerant.
At least two others had been cut down.
Police officers visited the site and removed a handful of items but patrols of the area will continue.
The force has asked parents to be mindful of the areas their children visit and take notice of any household items they are taking with them.
