The Northern Lights have lit up the night sky with rare sightings.
Salisbury was bathed in hues of red and green as the rare phenomenon was seen overhead in the early hours of Saturday.
This was due to one of the strongest geomagnetic storms for years hitting Earth.

The US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) issued a rare solar storm warning as a result, according to the BBC.
