A magical festival is set to return to the New Forest this summer.

The New Forest Fairy Festival, the largest event of its kind returns for the 12th year running on August 10 and 11 at Burley Park. 

Founder Holly Kate Norman said: "The New Forest Fairy Festival brings a little bit of magic into people's lives.

"It's truly is a very special moment to see so many families and friends coming together each year to celebrate and share this mythical adventure."

The New Forest Fairy Festival is a family-friendly event that engages the minds of both children and adults alike through arts, culture, music and dance.

Festival goers can enjoy an array of entertainment across multiple platforms, from aerial acrobatics and circus skills to live music, dance and theatre.

This year's lineup includes world-class tributes and bands as well as providing a platform for up-and-coming talent.

Theatre and workshops are at the heart of Fairy Fest and with over 100+ activities on offer.

The festival also features a fancy dress competition, parade, storytelling and arts and crafts. Prizes are awarded for the best dressed each day.
