A 20-year-old was arrested after police found a man trying to flush a plastic packet down the toilet. 

Officers raided a house in Fordingbridge on Saturday, June 8. after securing a drug warrant.

In a social media post, Fordingbridge Police said: "Rapid entry was gained into an address where a male was caught trying to flush something down the toilet that looked to be wrapped in plastic!

"Again, thanks to you the public, as without this information we wouldn't have a warrant issued with a great result at the end of it."

A 20-year-old man from Fordingbridge was arrested for possession of class A drugs with intent to supply. The arrested man remains in custody.
