I left Salisbury Hospital on Saturday afternoon after a rapidly arranged two-night stay complete with a new stent, a fresh vigour to my walk and a welcome sense of well-being.
I had met and been cared for by dozens of people in a myriad of positions.
All were unfailingly welcoming, caring, smiling, polite and highly professional.
The hospital was clean and orderly, the equipment on hand dazzling in its capabilities.
I was kept well-informed, comfortable and free from stress.
Nowhere could have treated me better. And it cost not a penny.
Thank you, NHS. Thank you, Salisbury Hospital, Thank you, Tisbury Ward.
Thank you to all of you who kept me safe and made me well. You are all stars.
