A FAMILY is "desperate" to find their pet parrot which escaped more than a week ago.
Elvis the cockatiel flew out of a window on Marlborough Road in the city centre on Wednesday, July 24.
The grey parrot belonged to Gemma Johnson's daughter who is "desperate to be reunited with him".
"She is utterly devastated. We really want him home," Gemma said.
"We would be really grateful for anything that might get people looking and increase the chances of him being found."
Any sightings of the bird should be reported directly to Gemma through her Facebook account.
