More than 40 food and drink products from Wiltshire were featured in the Guild of Fine Food's Great Taste Awards 2024.
This includes three from the Salisbury area.
The awards are now in their 31st year and there were entries from almost 3,500 companies across 115 countries.
Each entry was meticulously blind-tasted by the guild’s expert judging panel of more than 500 food critics, chefs, recipe creators, buyers, retailers, and other specialists in the field of food and drink.
Entries were analysed across 92 judging days and each received detailed feedback - whether or not they obtained an award.
Products receive a one, two or three-star rating if they are ranked among the best by judges.
Three stars are given to ‘extraordinarily tasty food and drink’, two stars to products that are ‘above and beyond delicious’ and one star for ‘food and drink that delivers fantastic flavour’.

Mike Smales from Lyburn Farmhouse, which is based in Landford, said: “We have always entered the Great taste awards, with some success, but this year we have done exceptionally well.”
“Stoney Cross has done particularly well this year in several cheese competitions and it is important that we have consistency in our product and this is a good way to prove it.”
Charles Meyrick from Charlie's Smokehouse in Downton, told the Journal: "We are absolutely delighted to have been awarded two stars for our Cold Smoked Trout in the 2024 Great Taste awards. The Guild of Fine Foods have been championing independent food producers since 1995 so to win such a prestigious award at the first attempt is an achievement that we can all be extremely proud of.
"We took over an abandoned smokehouse located on the site of an old dairy on the historic Longford estate in 2021, since then we have refurbished the site to include two traditional kilns and a state of the art processing facility. We are committed to producing the highest quality products using traditional methods, filleting and slicing all the fish by hand.
"This award is a reflection of the all skill and hard work put into producing our flagship Cold Smoked Trout."
