THE annual Salisbury Cathedral Organ Prom returned on Saturday, August 10, for another evening of musical delights.
This year's event, sponsored by Sofas & Stuff, lived up to its reputation as a relaxed and enjoyable experience for all.
The audience wandered freely throughout the magnificent cathedral, soaking in the atmosphere and the music. The programme featured a crowd-pleasing mix of genres, with organist David Halls and John Challenger leading the way.
From the stirring sounds of film scores like Star Wars and James Bond to the timeless melodies of popular classics like Over the Rainbow and Summertime, there was something for everyone.

Classical favourites like Bach’s famous Toccata and Fugue, Holst's Jupiter and Elgar's Nimrod added a touch of sophistication, while a brand new piece by Andrew Lloyd Webber, "Lovingly Remembered," offered a touching tribute.
The evening's host, musician and broadcaster David Owen Norris, kept the energy high with his infectious enthusiasm.
And thanks to the sponsor's generosity, a comfy "selfie sofa" proved to be a popular spot for attendees to capture memories of the night.
