TWO young males have been arrested after they sent police on a chase through Wiltshire in a stolen car.
The driver, a 16-year-old boy, was travelling in a Jaguar which had been stolen from Shrewton at around 10.30am on Monday morning, August 26.
Police tracked the car onto the A36 through Westbury and the driver failed to stop for officers.
A pursuit was authorised with the assistance of the National Police Air Service.
Following the successful deflation of the vehicle's tyres by officers, the vehicle crashed on the A350 and two occupants were detained.
Two young males from Devizes were arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, failing to stop for police, theft of a motor vehicle and burglary.
One is currently in Melksham custody assisting officers with their investigation.
The second male remains in hospital but is not seriously injured.
Enquiries continue.
