I would like to sincerely thank Bernadette Jones and her grandson Shane, who recently “rescued” and looked after my very elderly mum Sophie.
Mum lives in Amesbury but got confused after a trip to Salisbury and found herself still on the bus somewhere towards Bulford at later than 6.30pm. She didn’t recognise where she was, but Bernadette took her to her own home in Bulford and asked her grandson Shane and his girlfriend to drive mum home.
Bernadette accompanied mum and ensured she got home and was totally safe, also asking mum to phone me and say she was home safe.
Thank you both SO much for your amazing kindness and care, it's hugely appreciated.
