A WOMAN was nearly hit by a car as the driver took police on a chase through Salisbury.
Two people were arrested following a pursuit in Bemerton Heath on Wednesday afternoon, August 28.
Several police cars, a helicopter and a drone were spotted in the area while officers searched for the two suspects, who decamped a red Ford Ka just before 2pm.
Police officers attending a nearby property arrested a 20-year-old man on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker.
A 36-year-old woman was also arrested at the same address on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker and cultivation of cannabis.
Wiltshire Police has asked any witnesses to come forward with information or dashcam footage.
The force has also appealed directly to a female pedestrian who was "nearly struck" by a car while she was walking on Roman Road at 1.57pm.
This witness had brown hair and was wearing a blue and white patterned dress.
