A planning application has been submitted to turn a vacant office space above two restaurants into flats.
Mr Vorhand, from Golders Green in London, has applied to convert vacant office space on 2 Bridge Street into three apartments.
The office space, located above Wagamamas, Betfred and Cawardines, has been empty since May 2023, and the applicant wants to turn it into a one-bedroom flat and two two-bedroom flats.
The site is the former BBC Radio Wiltshire studio, which has since relocated to Swindon.

As well as the flats, Mr Vorhand wishes to create a bike and bin store, and add solar panels to the roof.
There would be no on-site or off street parking, but the site is just 800m from the train station and close to city centre bus stops.
The applicant states “there is no need for an end user to require the use of a private motor vehicle”.
Wiltshire Council has until October 30, 2024, to make a decision. To view the application, click here.
