A large number of penned pheasants have been killed by a dog in the Winterslow area.
According to police, the incident happened in the early hours of Tuesday, September 3, between 5am and 6am.
Police are now appealing for any witnesses of the tragic incident. Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area during this time.
Drivers who were in the vicinity between these hours and may have dash cam footage are also urged to come forward.
