A man in his 70s has suffered injuries following a car accident near Stonehenge.
At approximately 5pm on Thursday, September 19, emergency services responded to a crash on the A303 at Winterbourne Stoke.
Two cars crashed near the Longbarrow roundabout, and the road remained closed for several hours while two fire crews attended, alongside an ambulance, rapid response vehicle, police and a tactical commander.

A man in his 70s suffered injuries that are not thought to be life-changing. He was taken to Southampton General Hospital.
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 4.57pm on Thursday, September 19 to a road traffic collision near Winterbourne Stoke.
"We sent one double-crewed land ambulance, a rapid response vehicle and a tactical commander to the scene. We conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Southampton General Hospital”.
Wiltshire Police said: "At around 5pm yesterday we responded to a two vehicle collision on the A303 near the Longbarrow roundabout.
“One of the drivers, a man in his 70s, suffered injuries which are not thought to be life-changing.
“The road was closed for several hours to allow for recovery and has now reopened.”
