A man has been charged and remanded for various offences following an incident in Salisbury.
Mark Day, 37, of Coberley Drive, Salisbury, has been charged with assault, two counts of assaulting an emergency worker, dangerous driving, driving while disqualified, failing to provide, possession of a class B drug and criminal damage.
He appeared at Swindon Magistrates’ Court today (September 23) and has been remanded into custody.
DS Nugent of South CID said: “This was excellent teamwork which involved multiple departments including the neighbourhood policing team, CID, dogs unit and a police helicopter.
“I’d also like to thank the members of the public who called in about this incident – their support was invaluable.”
