CHRISTMAS is returning to Salisbury with a range of activities starting next month.
Salisbury City Council has announced that the festive celebrations will kick off on Friday, November 15 with an event in the Salisbury Market Place.
Lasting from 1pm until 8pm, attendees will be able to enjoy live music, entertainment, festive stalls, food and drink, and the opening of Christmas on the Square. This event is free entry for all.
Christmas on the Square will then run from Friday, November 15 to Wednesday, January 5. The event is being sponsored by Southern Western Railway, with Salisbury City Council, Charter 1227 Catering and Vizual Koncept partnering up again this season to bring delicious food, warming drinks, and live music evenings to the city.

Santa’s Grotto will be running from November 15 to Tuesday, December 24. Located in the Guildhall Square, attendees will be able to gather around to hear a Christmas story, enjoy festive activities, and meet with Santa.
Each child will also receive a gift straight from Santa’s workshop!

New for 2024, the Gift Fayre will run from Friday, November 22 to Tuesday, December 19.
The event will see Salisbury City Council and Mynt Image present an enclosed, covered outdoor shopping experience featuring more than twenty local artisans and makers.
The Sunday Festive Markets are also returning. These will take place on the first four Sundays of December in Salisbury Market Place, with a range of vendors offering their wares.
