Fordingbridge Town Council has welcomed two new members at its October general council meeting.
Councillor Willard Balthazar has a background in art and PR and is keen to help promote and expand the unique profile of Fordingbridge in the local community and further afield. With facilities for theatre, music, community cinema and visual arts, he believes Fordingbridge could be seen as an arts and culture town.

As President of the Fordingbridge Art Club, Willard is particularly interested in expanding awareness of Fordingbridge as a town that encourages the arts.
Cllr Chris Ward and his wife own a business in Fordingbridge, giving him a strong understanding of the local economy and its needs. As a type 1 diabetic and someone with sight problems, Chris understands the importance of accessibility and inclusivity in our community. He is eager to contribute his time and efforts to making a positive impact as a counsellor.
