A PRIMARY school is preparing to hold its popular Christmas bazaar this weekend.
The event at St Andrew's Primary School in Laverstock will be held between 2pm and 4pm on Saturday, November 30 on Church Road.
The Friends of St Andrew's Christmas Bazaar – which organisers say has been going on since at least 2001 – will raise money for the school and to provide the children with more extra-curricular activities.

A spokesperson for The Friends of St Andrew's said: “The event will have a Santa's Grotto (£3 per ticket), various tombolas, games at less than pocket money prices, Christmas photos, raffles with an array of excellent prizes, hot dogs, cheesy chips, cakes, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, beer and mulled wine and craft stalls.
“The Friends of St Andrew's is a ‘Flexible Friend’ who can help at or in the run-up to family-friendly events to enhance the experience in our community.
“The fundraising raised from The Friends of St Andrews events provides valuable funds to support the school with the cost of enrichment opportunities for all the children in the school.”
Other events held at the school this month include an odd socks day, a Children in Need fundraiser and a Bags2School events collection.
