A Young Farmers group from Salisbury won an award in a County Public Speaking Competition.

January saw the Wiltshire Young Farmers County Public Speaking Competition take place in Seend.

A team from Salisbury Young Farmers Club won the competition on Sunday, January 26.

The Junior team comprising Adam Damant (chair), Sophia Watson (speaker) and Jemima Wray (vote of thanks) beat clubs from all over the county to come top against stiff competition and put in an outstanding performance to score the highest marks in each category.

They will now go on to represent the county at the South West Area finals to be held in Weston Super Mare in March.
