THE scores are in — the latest batch of food hygiene ratings for the local area have been revealed.

Environmental health officers from the region have been busy this fortnight visiting businesses across the area to see if they are meeting hygiene requirements.

Based on guidelines set by the Food Standards Agency, inspectors look to see how clean the facilities are, what food safety management procedures are in place and how hygienic food handling is.

Ratings are then dished out from five to zero — with the higher score the better the result.

The following businesses have been rated five - 'very good' with results published in the last fortnight:

Bartley Church of England Junior School at Winsor Road, Winsor, rated 5 on February 26.

Fordingbridge Foodbank at Bartons Road, Fordingbridge, rated 5 on February 26.
