A farmer's campaign group are set to bring their ongoing 'Say No to Labour' campaign to Salisbury.
Farmers To Action, a grassroots group championing for farming communities and the wider public, will meet at Salisbury Livestock Market on Friday, April 11 and 11 am.
This fresh wave of protests, part of their 'Say No to Labour' campaign, is focused on towns and cities with significant Labour council representation, with campaigners aiming to raise awareness ahead of the local elections on May 1, 2025.
They are planning to get as many tractors, cars and trucks as possible to join them and the group says: "Get as many farmers as possible to come along, bring banners and boards to spread our message.
"Let's show the power of our rural community."

Farmers To Action is taking a stand against what they describe as the Labour government’s "all-out assault and damaging policies towards the agricultural sector, small businesses, veterans, pensioners, students, and the general public."
Key protest locations are planned across Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Derbyshire, and Wiltshire, where farmers and the wider public hope to amplify their message to local voters and government officials.
A spokesperson for Farmers To Action then said: "Labour’s nightmare net-zero policies and endless taxes mean higher costs, more red tape and weaker economic security for us all.
"This isn’t just about farming and IHT; it’s about food security and our chance to pass that to the next generation. It’s about respect for our veterans, it’s about care for our pensioners, it’s about a future for our students and it’s about standing up for our country.
"We can’t afford to stay silent. Join us, spread the message, and stand with British farmers, veterans and businesses before it’s too late."
