People in Salisbury are being urged to learn about the seriousness of type 2 diabetes.
This comes after research by Tesco and Diabetes UK revealed a concerning lack of awareness about the condition.
The study showed that 66 per cent of people in the region have never considered their risk of type 2 diabetes, although 31 per cent are worried about developing the condition.
Type 2 diabetes can lead to severe complications, including sight loss, strokes and heart attacks.
