Kathy and Steve West, who have been Shared Lives carers for 11 years, said: "Shared Lives allows you to work from home and support someone in your own home as part of your daily life.
"We get a lot of fun from it, and we feel part of a team.
"You’re making a real contribution, and the satisfaction you get from it is huge.
"I’d love more people to experience that."
Cllr Clare Cape, cabinet member for adult social care, said: "We are looking for more people from all walks of life to become Shared Lives Carers.
"You don’t need specific experience – just kindness, patience and a willingness to share your home."
The Shared Lives team will be at Salisbury Library on Tuesday, June 16 from 9am to 1pm and Warminster Library on Friday, June 19 during the same hours.
