Seaside fun is coming to the heart of Salisbury this summer with the return of a much-loved community event.

Fayre on the Square will transform Guildhall Square into a "seaside-inspired hub of activity" from Friday, July 17, to Sunday, September 6.

Organised by Salisbury City Council, the event will feature family entertainment, games, food, and live music.

Bringing a taste of the seaside to the city, Fayre on the Square offers a summer packed full of fun, food and entertainment for the whole community.

This year’s programme includes more activities than ever, with each costing £3.50.

Attendees can purchase an activity card offering 10 activities for the price of nine.

Classic games such as boules, skittles, mini golf, table tennis, table football, chess, and swingball will be available, alongside free activities including Connect 4, giant Jenga, and sandpits.

No booking is required and the event is designed to suit all ages and budgets.

Visitors can relax at the bar operated by Columbia Events or enjoy street food from Charter 1227 Catering.

Sweet treats, including ice cream and traditional sticks of rock, will also be on offer.

Fayre on the Square promises to deliver a lively, inclusive, and memorable summer experience for all.
