A NEW pub is taking shape in Salisbury city centre, with plans now revealed for its branding.
Amber Taverns has applied for advertising consent to reopen the former Pizza Hut at 40 Blue Boar Row as Cooper & Co.
Plans include illuminated signage, a hanging sign, entrance graphics and informational boards.
Drawings show a revamped shopfront, new timber cladding, fresh paint and a new entrance.
The site has stood empty since Pizza Hut shut in September 2020 during a national restructuring.
Amber Taverns, which runs more than 175 UK pubs, bought the building and secured permission to turn it into a pub with a beer garden.
The Blackpool-based operator says it wants to create a venue focused on drinks, live sport and entertainment.

The Cooper & Co. pub will follow this model, offering a drinks-led experience without a full kitchen and featuring a garden and dedicated karaoke areas.
Wiltshire Council previously approved plans for a refreshed exterior and two soundproofed karaoke areas.
Hartbrights Ltd has applied for the signs and exterior branding on Amber Taverns' behalf.
Proposals detail halo-illuminated lettering across the building’s frontage displaying the Cooper & Co. name and a circular hanging sign above Blue Boar Row.
Two lit information boards would flank the entrance, while white vinyl graphics are planned for the glass doors.
The work includes replacing rotten timber, repainting the exterior and fitting a recessed entrance and escape door.
The latest application follows approval for the full conversion and refurbishment of the long-empty unit several months ago.
Amber Taverns previously confirmed a major renovation would take place before opening to the public.
Wiltshire Council will decide the application at a later date.
Amber Taverns has said the venue is expected to open to the public before the end of 2026.
