Milford House staff shortlisted for National Activity Awards

Two care home workers have been named national finalists for their creative contributions to resident wellbeing.

Wendy Fuller and Gale Louw, who work at Milford House Care Home in Salisbury, reached the finals in the Creative Arts category of the 2027 National Activity Awards.

Hilary Woodhead, chief executive officer at NAPA, said: "Being selected as a National Activity Awards finalist is an outstanding achievement.

"Your nomination demonstrates the passion, creativity, and commitment that make activity provision so important.

"This is your moment, and we hope you will join us for a very special celebration."

Jess Brolan, regional director, said the recognition reflects the dedication of the entire team.

She said: "We are so proud of the team for being recognised at this stage of the judging process.

"At Milford House, we employ dedicated and experienced people who consistently provide a high standard in quality of care for our residents."

The National Activity Awards ceremony will take place at Hunton Park Hotel in Hertfordshire on January 22, 2027.
