Wilton House will open its doors for a special charity event to support people living with dementia.
Beyond Dementia’s A Walk to Remember and Fun Day will take place on Saturday, September 19, offering families and supporters a rare chance to explore the Wilton Estate while raising funds for dementia care across Wiltshire.
The event is open to all, with activities running from 10am to 4pm and entry by donation.
Rachel Fear, community fundraising manager for Beyond Dementia, said: "However you choose to join us, it’s a chance to come together for a day of community and connection, whilst raising vital funds for local people living with dementia and their families.
"If you haven’t signed up for the walk online and would still like to join us, please don’t worry; you can simply turn up on the day."
Wilton House is not currently open to the general public, making this event a special opportunity to enjoy its gardens, adventure playground, and a host of family-friendly attractions.
The fun day will include stalls, refreshments, birds of prey, and appearances by Star Wars characters. Only assistance dogs will be permitted on site.
For those wishing to take part in the walk, two routes are available: the 5.5-mile Wilton Estate Circuit and the 1-mile Wilton Gardens Walk, which is easily accessible.
Registration for the walk opens at 9.30am, with the walk beginning at 10.30am.
Registration fees are £15 for adults, £10 for children aged 11 to 16, and £5 for children aged six to 10. Children under five can join for free.
All registered walkers will be entered into a prize draw to win a one-night bed and breakfast stay for two at Milford Hall Hotel, along with a Beyond Dementia T-shirt and water bottle.

Beyond Dementia is an independent charity with its head office in Devizes, founded in 1990.
It offers daycare, home support, carers’ groups, training, and community activities such as music, art, and movement sessions.
The charity also works with businesses and organisations to improve dementia awareness and campaigns on issues affecting those with dementia and their families.
In the Wiltshire CCG area, more than 7,000 people are living with dementia, and 66 per cent have a formal diagnosis.
Nationally, dementia affects 850,000 people in the UK.
