A new pizza restaurant has opened in Salisbury city centre after a vacant unit stood empty for several years.
Mamas Pizza has opened at 4 Endless Street, opposite the Pickled Frog, bringing the former Papa John's premises back into use.
Papa John's closed unexpectedly in November 2022 due to what were described at the time as “operational issues”. Although plans for the takeaway to reopen under new ownership were announced in 2023, the premises remained vacant.

It has now been taken over by Mamas Pizza, a chain with existing locations including Bradford, Blackburn and Preston.
Menus displayed outside the restaurant show a range of affordable options, including pizzas, burgers, wraps, a kids menu, desserts and jacket potatoes.
