New Stonehenge Tour Partnership

The Cathedral and Wilts & Dorset bus company are working together to expand the popular ‘Stonehenge Tour’.

The new package for 2010/11, beginning on 16 March, will feature Salisbury Cathedral and Magna Carta and enable visitors to explore Stonehenge, the hillfort of Old Sarum and the Cathedral itself using a single ticket, travelling between the historic sites on the distinctive orange and black buses.

The Stonehenge Tour buses stop at the rail station, bus station and any of the city centre stops or historic sites themselves. Buses run every 30 minutes in the summer and once an hour for the rest of the year. Tickets are bought from the driver or the Tourist Information Centre.

Adult ticket prices range from £11 (tour only) to £22 (includes admission to Stonehenge, Old Sarum and a donation to the Cathedral).
