A NEW event is coming to Salisbury on Saturday, April 10 in the form of Child’s Play: The Birth to Big School Show.

The show, which will take place at the City Hall from 10am to 4pm, will feature a variety of attractions aimed at families with children.

There will be a mum’s pamper zone, maternity wear, children’s sports and fitness area, arts and crafts plus toys and games. The show will be organised by Ladies who Love, the Salisbury Journal and Wiltshire Society Magazine.

Catherine Dunning, owner of Ladies who Love, said: “The show encompasses everything from pregnancy through to birth and that all-important, unforgettable, first day at big school.”

The city hall can accommodate more than 60 exhibitors, and the organisers are confident they can provide an event that is totally different to anything seen before.

Catherine added: “There will be plenty of live e n t e r t a i n m e n t happening during the day including an indoor bouncy castle, disco, clowns, children’s entertainers, magicians and an arty corner provided by Splash of Colour.

“There will also be face painting, balloon modelling and party tricks.

“In all, we hope to have the ultimate family fun day, when mum, dad and the children can come along during the Easter school break and have a great time.”

Family tickets are £5 (including three adults). Children under 12 are free –providing they are accompanied.
