Thank You -

On Saturday 6th March thirty or so Cathedral Strollers and friends led two sponsored walks around the Shaftesbury Drove and along the Avon Valley (south of Salisbury) raising much needed financial support for the Way of the Cross.

Three or four preceding days of fine weather meant that the tracks were fairly dry.

Having such glorious countryside on our doorstep is a real bonus and the long distant views of the Cathedral did much to raise our spirits when legs and knees started to ache.

Thank you to members of the congregation for generous individual donations and pledges of support. In total, just over £1,000 was raised.
