POLICE are appealing for information on the whereabouts of two young girls who have gone missing from Amesbury.
Rebecca Prince, 12, and Ellie Purvis, 11, went missing from their homes at some point between midnight and 7am this morning.
The girls left no indication where they were going and have not contacted family.
Rebecca may be wearing a lemon coloured hoody but otherwise their clothing is not known. They are believed to have taken bags with them but don’t have much money.
Sergeant Mark Freeman said: “We believe the girls may be in the area of Amesbury, Larkhill or Durrington and I’d like to make it clear that they aren’t in any trouble. Their families are very worried about them and we all want to make sure that they are safe. I am appealing for anyone who sees them to contact police.”
Anyone who knows the girls’ whereabouts can contact Wiltshire Police on 0845 408 7000.
