MORE than 400 people visited a pop-up Pride shop in the city centre today.
It’s a collaboration of Salisbury Pride and Swindon and Wiltshire Pride to help Salisbury Pride grow, and offers a safe space for people to ask questions and find support.
Swindon & Wiltshire Pride's shop is in Salisbury today and tomorrow as part of Pride Month.
It is touring the county and after appearing in Swindon last week, it will move on to Trowbridge on 19-20 June.
The LGBTQ+ charity is offering people an opportunity to purchase Pride gifts, pick up information and get advice from the volunteers.
All of the profits are being put towards Swindon & Wiltshire Pride, Salisbury Pride and Trowbridge Pride.
Mayor of Salisbury Caroline Corbin officially opened the store this morning.
It is next to the Old George Mall, next to the O2 store, and is open from 10am to 4pm tomorrow.
Mayor Caroline said: "We had a lovely day with many visitors across all age ranges expressing the need for more diversity and inclusion within the City amongst all groups multicultural and disabled too."
