An ITV chat show which sees celebrities open up about their lives hasn't had any new episodes in months, leading to speculation that it could be axed after 17 years.
Life Stories was originally hosted by Piers Morgan until broadcaster and Good Morning Britain (GMB) presenter Kate Garraway took over, hosting three episodes in 2022.
Morgan fronted the show for 19 series and interviewed celebrities such as Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, singer Elton John and Baywatch star Pamela Anderson.
Kate Garraway was the host of three episodes in 2022 and three more in 2023.
Her latest saw Jeremy Kyle appear on Life Stories in 2025, reports The Sun.
While the TV show hasn’t been on our screens since then, ITV reportedly insists the show hasn’t been axed and that Kate would host more episodes “if the guest was right”, according to the newspaper.
An insider told The Sun: “When Piers was fronting Life Stories it was on our screens constantly for 12 years — often with two series a year.
“But the last time we saw Kate fronting a whole series was in 2023, and ITV haven’t given any indication when, if ever, the show will return.
“Kate has been busy maintaining her day job, as well as making several award-winning documentaries and, of course, she appeared on the BBC’s The Celebrity Traitors last year.”

In her time on the show, Kate interviewed the likes of former footballer John Barnes, TV chef Nadiya Hussain and singer Charlotte Church.
Actress and comedian Ruby Wax, Strictly Come Dancing judge Anton Du Beke and comedian Omid Djalili were also interviewed by Garraway on Life Stories.
Newsquest has approached ITV for comment.
ITV to revive game show Name That Tune after 28 years
ITV has recently announced it will be bringing back the game show Name That Tune, with Great British Bake Off host Alison Hammond set to be the new face of it.
The show began in the mid-1950s, originating in the United States on NBC Radio in 1952.

It sees contestants pitted against each other as their music knowledge is put to the test.
The British version first aired on UK TV back in 1976, and the hosts have included Tom O'Connor, Lionel Blair and Jools Holland.
