The big pre-season date is approaching in football as fans begin to plan their away trips and mark the exciting fixtures on the calendar.

Salisbury FC and all the other clubs in the Vanarama National Leagues will learn their fixtures on Wednesday, July 10. The campaign will kick off on Saturday, August 10 with the league concluding on Saturday, April 26.

The festive period and Easter are popular amongst supporters, and this season will be no different. The games are scheduled for Saturday, December 21, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day as well as Good Friday and Easter Monday.

Teams that meet on Boxing Day will then meet again on Good Friday, and the same with New Years Day and Easter Monday. This comes after a survey of clubs, the National League Board made the change from the Boxing Day and New Year’s Day fixtures being reversed, which is what has happened in the past.

Clubs can switch their New Year’s Day fixture to New Year’s Eve, Tuesday, December 31 if they mutually agree to do so.
