This September, Albert Wilde qualified for National Hunter Trial Championships, 2019. Albert, 15, competes in show jumping and cross country, as well as hunting, most weekends, on his horse, Izzy.
Albert has been riding since the age of four and he rides Izzy every day, fitting this into a busy week with Year 11 GCSE preparation and mocks just around the corner. Albert loves the sport of horse-riding for many reasons including feeling a great “sense of achievement”. He enjoys meeting new people and added, “It’s a fun and sociable sport, where anyone can join in”.
He plans to become a farrier, in the hope that one day he will have his own successful business surrounded by horses.
