He last performed at the Playhouse as Roger Mason in the stage adaptation of William Golding’s The Spire and his television credits include Where the Heart Is, Casualty and Tracey Beaker.

Beans on toast, with poached eggs and a scoop of Branston pickle.

If you had a million pounds to give away what would you do with the money?

Try to save the great apes. If we can't watch out for our cousins, we don't measure up as a family.

If you had a time machine where would it take you?

Victorian London.

What was your most embarrassing moment?

Ask Christine Hillhouse (it's still raw after 33 years).

If you were stranded on a desert island what luxury would you choose to have with you?

A masseuse.

Forgetting something.

Liverpool Football Club.

If you could make or change any law, what would it be?

Free trade is all very fine, but not when we get cheap goods at the price of slavery. Embargos on such countries.
