SOUTH Wilts under ten pair Edward Wade and Ben Higton had a week to remember representing Wiltshire at the Malvern under ten cricket festival.
Against Cardiff & Vale on the second day, Wade hit a sensational 120 off just 76 balls. His fifty took just 35 balls and his hundred 63 balls. He hit 22 fours and three sixes.
Higton shared a partnership for the fourth wicket of 88 runs off 48 balls, with Higton racing to fifty off only 27 balls before falling on 73. He also picked up 3-6 off 3.3 overs as Wiltshire sealed a 142-run win.
This followed half centuries for the pair on day one in a narrow defeat to Suffolk. Higton hit four sixes in his 56 off 53 balls whilst Wade hit 50 not out off 47 balls with one straight six.
Unfortunately the pair missed out on a third day of success as rain prevented any play against Warwickshire.
