SALISBURY City defender Jon Beswetherick underwent an operation on his injured knee yesterday.
Beswetherick has been sidelined since suffering the injury in the Conference South match at Bognor Regis Town on November 18.
Manager Nick Holmes said: "The op looks to have gone well. There's no cartilage problem which is a plus, but like the injury to Tommy (Widdrington) we've just got to be patient now and wait and see."
The rest of Holmes' squad are expected to report for training tonight for their first session following Tuesday's FA Cup replay defeat at Nottingham Forest.
The Whites entertain Woking on Saturday in the first round proper of the FA Trophy (kick off 3pm). Match preview to follow.
