TAG rugby players from a Netheravon school are one step away from walking out at the home of English rugby.
Netheravon All Saints Primary School beat rival schools from across Wiltshire in the Sainsbury School Games Level 3 Tag Rugby competition.
Out of 16 teams taking part, the youngsters were among four schools, who had all topped their group, battling it out for first place.
One win and two draws in the remaining stages proved enough to win the competition as well as progressing through to south west regional competition in Taunton on June 18 with Swindon-based Catherine Wayte.
“Congratulations to all of the players from each of the teams who played with skill, determination and fairness, in spite of the cold and wet weather on the day,” said PE co-ordinator Ross Nashwalder, whose team have a chance of playing at Twickenham stadium.
