A COMFORTABLE six-wicket victory at Lower Bemerton was posted by South Wilts II after nailing Portsmouth & Southsea firmly to the Southern Electric Premier League Division 3 basement.
Marc Burton (3-26) did the early damage and spinner captain Tom Perace (4-22) and Owain Phillips (2-20) removed the lower order as P & S, propped up by Jack Davies (80), tumbled to 157 all out.
South Wilts had the points in the bag in 27 overs - Joe Cranch hitting an unbeaten 40 and Sam Pittman a solid 38.
They travel to Trojans on Saturday (1pm).
