VOICING their thoughts at the Ray Mac were Sandra Ellis, Hugh McAllister and Dave Todd. Julie and Joshua Coward also made the trip to the ground from Hanging Landford.
Sandra said: “I have been a fan for about six years and never would have thought I would miss it as much as I do. Hopefully there will be football in Salisbury again and, when there is, I will be first in the queue.”
Fellow fan Hugh, from Gomeldon, cannot see a future at the Ray Mac.
“I don’t think I’ll see Salisbury play football again.
“I hate to be pessimistic but I cannot see it unless a lot of money comes in.”
Programme writer for the past 14 years, Dave said: “It’s a family more than a football club.
“It’s been a big part of my life and I still haven’t been to watch anyone else yet.”
