SALISBURY RFC cruised to an easy victory at home against an inexperienced Midsomer Norton on Saturday to keep pace with second place Sherborne.
Despite giving them trouble in the reverse fixture the visitors were no match for Salisbury who ran out to a comfortable 67-12 victory.
Dan Jefferies men racked up 11 tries in total with two apiece for Dave Tonge and new comer Jamie Miller with six conversions from Tom Pottage.
