TEN-MAN The Wanderers finally found cup delight after an enthralling 4-2 encounter against old foes Alderbury.
Liam McConnell’s side, who licked their wounds after their cup defeat to Stockton and Codford, were at their best to deny Alderbury another trophy in the Lord Bledisloe Cup Final at Western Way.
Despite losing Russ Parsons, a hat-trick from Adam Jones and one for skipper Andrew Duffy secured the trophy. Boss McConnell said it was the “best performance of the season”.
