BEMERTON Heath Harlequins failed to stop Moneyfields chalking up a seventh straight win on a difficult surface at the Portsmouth club.

Both sides struggled against the gale force wind with chances few and far between.

Mankin went closest for Heath on 33 minutes with a long range effort, but 15-year-old Moneyfields custodian Jack Goodman enjoyed a relatively quite debut.

However, Darren Crowfoot in the Bemerton goal had to be alert shortly after, saving well from Jason Prior.

After a goalless first 45 minutes, the deadlock was finally broken seven minutes into the second half when a speculative cross by George Way sailed over the head of Crowfoot and into the net.

The hosts then took control of proceedings and made the most of some slack Heath marking with Steve Black making it 2-0.

Harlequins attempted to find a way back into the game, but simply couldn't hit the target.

Pabs N'Doye volleyed home Moneyfields' third ten minutes from time with Prior netting a fourth in added time.

Harlequins visit Lymington Town on Saturday, ahead of Tuesday's local derby with Downton (kick off 7.45pm).

Heath secured a semi-final berth in the Salisbury Hospital Cup courtesy of a 4-0 win over Amesbury Town.

Nick Turpin scored a hat-trick for the Premier Division side, with Jack Slade netting the fourth late on.

Heath's Colts take on Stockton & Codford in Monday's Morrison Cup Final, kick off 11am.
