BEMERTON Heath Harlequins had to be content with a share of the spoils after being held to a draw at Lymington Town on Saturday.

Graham Mankin came close to opening the scoring after just two minutes, his thunderous shot bamboozling the 'keeper only to miss the target by a whisker.

While Heath continued to create chances, Town were limited to one shot on target, former Salisbury City player Darren Crook seeing his effort well saved at the near post by Darren Crowfoot.

The deadlock was finally broken in the 62nd minute, Jack Slade's free kick headed home by Nick Turpin.

The goal stirred Town into action and, although Bemerton continued to pepper the hosts' goal, Lymington held firm and scrambled an equaliser.
